LODGING

LODGING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

Leave the car parked for the weekend. Nothing beats putting on your boots inside and walking right to the lifts in the morning or a steamy soak in the hot tub after a day on the mountain.

We offer slopeside lodging at Collins Lake Resort.  It’s located right in the heart of legendary Government Camp — where you’ll find great restaurants and bars – and within walking distance to Skibowl.   Luxury accommodations sleep up to 10 guests comfortably, with two, three, and four bedroom suites.  Choose between The Chalets, Grand Lodges or The Golden Poles Chalets, located within walking distance of Skibowl East and the Snow Tube & Adventure Park.

Collins Lake features year-round heated swimming pools, multiple hot tubs, and its famous “leisure pool.”  An extensive trail network (including part of the Orignial Oregon Trail) winds throught the 28 acre property.  It’s ideal for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or hiking.  Plus, loding is located a short walk from the charming alpine village of “Gov’y, with its range of great shops, restaurants, and bars.

Tubing Operations Suspended

We’re super excited to see mountain snow in the forecast! Unfortunately, the timing of the snowfall has been very unsettled and moving around a bit. As we approach the weekend, temperatures are now predicted to rise throughout the day on Saturday with heavy rain forecasted for Sunday.

Given those circumstances, we have made the very tough decision to suspend operations for this weekend, December 2nd and 3rd with the primary focus on snow management and preservation. Our teams will be actively farming the snow as it’s falling throughout the storm in an effort to deepen our base prior to any rainfall we may experience.

****Please Note: Ticket sales for future dates have not yet been released.
We’ll provide an update for advanced tubing sales next Wednesday at noon.
