Skibowl’s Warming Hut is the perfect blend of history, community, and comfort.

In the shadow of the night-skiing lights, the warmth and glow of the Warming Hut radiates beyond its thick timber walls. Icicles dangle from the snowy roof. Open the big wood door and it hits you — this is the place. Loosen your boots, pull up a seat by the roaring fire. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, a selection of soups, German sausages, beer, and wine offer the perfect respite to refuel between runs.

Built in 1937 between Upper Bowl and Lower Bowl, the 400 square foot space is unlike any other mid-mountain hut in the West. It feels exactly like skiing should — warm, inviting, communal. The hardest part is leaving.

*The Warming Hut is open  Monday through Friday 5 pm to 9:45 pm,  Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 9:45 pm.
*The Warming Hut will be closed March 22nd.

*Unfortunately, due to a shortage of staff midweek hours will vary.
